1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Talia by Emboard ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
2. Description of service
Talia is an AI-powered interview coaching platform that provides voice-based practice interviews, CV feedback, and verifiable skill badges. We are constantly evolving the Service, and features may change without notice.
3. Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use Talia. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
4. Coin system and payments
Talia uses a coin-based system for interview sessions. Coins are non-refundable except where required by law or where a technical failure prevents delivery of the service. Coin balances have no cash value and cannot be transferred between accounts.
5. User content
You retain ownership of the CVs, job descriptions, and other content you upload. By uploading content, you grant Emboard a limited license to process it solely for the purpose of providing the Service. You represent that you have the right to upload any content you submit.
6. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any illegal purpose; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service; (c) interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service; (d) impersonate another person; or (e) use automated systems to access the Service in a way that sends more request messages than a human can reasonably produce.
7. AI-generated content
Talia uses artificial intelligence to generate interview questions, feedback, and CV suggestions. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors or biases. You should use your judgment and not rely solely on Talia's output for consequential decisions.
8. Verifiable badges
Badges issued through Talia represent performance in a simulated interview environment. They are not professional certifications and do not guarantee job placement. Emboard reserves the right to revoke badges obtained through fraud or misuse.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Emboard shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Governing law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Dubai.
12. Changes to terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
